What We Do

Founded in 2018 as a multicultural and interreligious service club, Y Service Club of North Jersey has been working diligently with the support of our members and volunteers to help individuals locally as well as internationally. Going beyond simply harmonious dialogue, our work is dedicated to funding and delivering charitable services, as we strive to inspire and improve the lives of those who need assistance. Get in touch to learn how you can make a difference at our charity.

Our Causes

It Starts With the Will to Make a Difference

Feeding Children and Families Fighting Cancer

Finding Hope

One of our main causes here at Y Service Club of North Jersey (YSNJ) is feeding children and families fighting cancer. Cancer is already a heavy burden for parents. To help support families so that they might concentrate on what is most important, Y Service supports Healing Meals/Health Barn through donations and hands-on service. See how you can help either through reading more or by contacting one of our representatives.

Helping the Homeless Become Independent

Building Credit Goes a Long Way

During the 2020 pandemic, YSNJ support families who were left in financial need, giving those families a credit card advance to help them build their credit rating together with guidance on how to maintain it through Family Promise. These families now have a greater chance for independence.

International Outreach to the Developing Nation of Honduras

When There are Few Other Options

YSNJ partners with Y Service of Honduras in a brotherhood of support. YSNJ supports financially and practically the development of Character Education in Honduras’s schools (scheduled to begin April 2020, but postponed per COVID restrictions).

In 2020, following the two devastating hurricanes that hit Honduras, YSNJ supported the distribution of three truckloads of disaster relief with food and daily necessities delivered to three villages cut off from public roads and transport and most in need.
